Scenic Roads
Committee At-Large Members
The Town of Waitsfield is seeking interested citizens to fill two
At-Large positions on the recently created Scenic Roads Committee.
The purpose of the committee is to carry out various provisions
called for by the Scenic Roads Enhancement
and Protection Plan, such as conducting inventories of scenic
features; reviewing guidelines and manuals for best practices for
scenic roads maintenance methods; and working with the Road Department
on special enhancement projects. Members include the Tree
Warden; the Road Commissioner; one representative each from the
Selectboard, Planning
Commission and Tree Board,
each being selected annually by its respective body; and two at-large
citizen members appointed annually by the Selectboard. Please
submit a letter of interest to the Waitsfield Selectboard, Waitsfield
Town Office, 9 Bridge Street, Waitsfield, VT 05673. For more
