The image below represents all the existing public water systems in and near the proposed municipal water service area. Many properties in the proposed service area are currently operating separate, small community water systems. The requirements for maintaining this systems is costly and has been consistenly increasing in recent years. A municipal water system would provide a opportunity to consolidate these systems and increase the long-term reliability of water available to the public.
